As a digital marketing agency, C Squared Social regularly sends out sales decks and other important sales collateral to prove to prospective clients that they should work together. However, issues can appear when there are so many cooks in the kitchen, and things can slip through the cracks.
This is exactly what was happening on the C Squared Social team, where sales presentations were being cobbled together and sent out with way more changes than team managers wanted to see.
“Since everyone had full access to our presentation templates, they would change them and “Frankenstein” their own decks together. They were going out with spelling errors and poor layouts and it was a poor representation of the company.”
As Director of Internal Development, pain points like this are brought to Tina so she can keep brand standards and ensure processes are efficient. So she started searching for a presentation platform that would work better for her team—and she found Visme.
Tina started vetting several different presentation platforms, including Prezi, Tiled, Pitch, and Beautiful.ai. Ultimately, her team settled on Visme.
“We sat on several demos and Visme seemed to be user friendly, had a lot of the bonuses in place like analytics and the ability to lock down certain areas. It just worked well for us and was a really good fit. Plus, there’s a great team behind the tool.”
Once C Squared Social signed up for their Visme workspace, the team did a staged release. Over the course of three months, the team adopted a new platform, rebuilt key content, and ensured the proper branding was applied.
The team started by creating accounts for the admin team and designers before adding their onboarding strategy and account management teams. All in all, C Squared has 33 employees using Visme, with more being onboarded within the year.
The team uses Visme predominantly to create presentations. Their designers were some of the first given access to Visme so they could design a number of templates that others could use and customize for their needs.

C Squared hasn’t always had the ability to standardize sales materials. Previously, the team was using Adobe Acrobat to edit presentations, and content was fully editable by every team member. This was causing issues with the presentations that were being shown to prospective clients.
“We would have multiple iterations of a file, sometimes the wrong one would go out, and it was kind of a mess. So I was looking for a platform where we could create templates and then lock items we don’t want them to change.”
They were able to make this happen with Visme.
Plus, with the ease of use of the Visme editor, Tina shared that the C Squared team sees a 20-25% time savings in creating and editing presentations for sales meetings. Furthermore, they’ve dropped Adobe Acrobat for most of the team, working exclusively in Visme.
“Time and quality have been the biggest improvements. It takes less time to edit and arrange things in Visme; it’s much faster. We also see fewer of the cobbled-together decks and so the quality of the assets we put in front of the client has improved.”
Here’s another example of one of these high-quality presentations they’re able to create and share now:

The sales team’s time has been greatly freed up from the time-consuming process of preparing and editing presentations—instead, they’re able to focus on presenting the information, building relationships with their prospects, and making the sale.
Best of all, C Squared Social can ensure that its branding is safe thanks to Visme and its branding controls in the platform, creating amazing sales materials that take less time and look great.
